Living Independently in a house in 2023

What if it were possible, in all conscience, to make your living space a paradise, a place where serenity reigns, without ignoring the challenges of the 21st century? We will see how to approach the management of a project, step by step, how to independently manage its commitment in time and money, to manifest our dream in reality.

  • Laurence Bonnevie

The first step towards the autonomous house: passive building

Building or rehabilitating autonomously means imagining that you will be able to compensate for your heating and cooling needs as well as your overall energy consumption. To limit the needs, and thus the size and cost of the equipment, it is necessary to reduce the losses and to recover the free contributions. We will present the principles of passive building, or how, before thinking about the system, we must think about the building as a whole so that energy production easily becomes positive. Laurence Bonnevie is an architect, certified in Passive Buildings and Bim.

  • Sebastian Moreno Vacca

Building: new performance in a changing world.

Can we, through our projects, not only limit our impact on the environment, but also regenerate it? Sebastian Moreno Vacca is the founder of A2M, an architectural firm that has been specializing in environmental research and the creation of exemplary projects for over 20 years. Over the years, the firm has built a reputation as a pioneer in the field of sustainable architecture by developing exclusively passive, sustainable, circular, zero energy, CO2 neutral or self-sufficient buildings. You will discover, through concrete cases, how this attitude leads to explore the realities of a decarbonized world, with some projects that not only limit their impact on the environment, but also regenerate it.

  • Jean-Pierre Lucio

Jean-Pierre Lucio Le concept de construction "2226"

The 2226 concept is a people-oriented structure with good air quality and comfortable indoor temperatures between 22 and 26 degrees. Thanks to the physics of the building and an intelligent building control system that regulates the temperature accordingly, it is free of heating and cooling. This approach is a pioneering contribution to the architectural issues of our time.

  • Noel Delwick

Noël Delwick created his ecological building renovation company in the early 2000s. A master builder and master trainer, he shares techniques for taking materials from the field to reduce energy and financial costs. His videos on L'ArchiPelle's Youtube channel accumulated more than one million views in the first year of broadcasting. During this conference, he will review the concepts and principles to be applied in order to achieve a successful ecological home renovation project.

  • Pierre L'ecoleau

    Pourquoi ? / Comment ? / Pour qui ?" de l'autonomie en eau de pluie ..

Pierre L'écoleau works exclusively on rainwater-based Eautonomy projects, in addition to dry toilets! He is one of the only ones in France to apply this concept and to detail the regulations that allow us to understand why, contrary to what the French authorities suggest, rainwater-based Eautonomy is not forbidden. His working philosophy is: to accompany the project owner by respecting his project without imposing anything!

Aquaponics: trout in your plate produced "at home" that grow the vegetables that accompany them.

Do you know salmonponics? It is the aquaponics of salmonids, which focuses on the production of trout and char in a system entirely designed to be efficient and resilient. Enjoy succulent fish raised by you while producing a variety of healthy and planet-friendly plants.

  • Boris Aubligine

From housing to global autonomy over the long term.

Boris Aubligine embodies a global radicalism of a rare extremism. In 1999, he chose to leave everything behind to become independent. He trained in agriculture and then in scientific ecology (the study of the relationships of living beings with each other and with their environment) and now runs the Etika Mondo eco-environment, an experimental center in human ecology. During this conference, the issue of habitat will be addressed in its ecological approach. In order to connect with the ecosystem and become autonomous, human beings must tend to inhabit a territory rather than a simple house.

  • Valerie Pozzo Di Borgo

    Water, Earth and Us.

What is water, where does it come from, why do we need it, what path does it take from the river to our tap, how does it become drinkable and what are the criteria for its potabilization? The defects of the system and the undesirables unfortunately present at our tap have consequences, what are the solutions for the consumer? If filtration is the best solution to preserve our health capital, what are the different systems, their advantages and their limits? What is reverse osmosis, and why is it the best possible filtration? I will answer your questions and give you as much food for thought as possible.

  • Marion Sarle

L’aquaponie : en faire son nouveau métier ?

Aquaponics is an agro-ecological technique in full development in the world. • Arnaud Cretot

Solar energy and local business: it works!

In these times of serious energy crisis, Arnaud Crétot offers a concrete, successful and reproducible illustration of a business based on a renewable and intermittent energy: solar energy. As an engineer in thermal energy, he shares his journey that led him to create NeoLoco, the first artisanal solar bakery and roaster in Europe (Normandy). Based on this example, he argues that the solutions to current challenges are societal and organizational before being technical. He shows that it is possible to diversify agriculture and trade on a local scale and questions the just-in-time economic model.

  • Samuel Le Berre

Is your home compatible with energy autonomy? Whether it is solar thermal or photovoltaic, wood boilers or stoves, Samuel Le Berre will present a method of reflection to approach an energy renovation project and select the best energy production systems compatible with your home while being financially optimal. • Dominique Lasne

Forty years of bioclimatic and solar house: return of experience.

With 40 years of small steps in the design of bioclimatic and solar houses (first prize of solar houses in 1986 and 1987), I would share with pleasure the art of designing projects so that it is as virtuous as possible in terms of CO2 balance from production to its consumption in energy. Indeed, with the equivalent of a full tank of gasoline you can be autonomous in heating and hot water. This is experienced today by about thirty couples. How to do it ? No mystery but a series of rules to respect. Dominque LASNE Architect of "mamaisonautonome.com" will explain you all that.
